Cyclerides is all about just that, we love cycling and everything cycling related.
Our small group cycling tours to France each year are clearly aimed at those cyclists that have dared to dream about riding some of the many famous "Tour De France Climbs", the tours are fully inclusive of meals and supported with an escort and tour van. We run these tours with the support of our sister company Conference Complete utilising this company's the travel and event management services.
The 2104 tour was a huge success, the group of 10 guys from Wagga Wagga were treated to some great weather, amazing rides and stunning scenery, their day up Galibier was a standout.
We have added "Sharing the French Alps" packages to the 2015 program, these packages are a great opportunity to really discover the cycling mecca that is the French Alps as you immerse yourself in the French Village culture. Limited to only 6 people at any one time, you will have to book early for this very personal French experience.

Sharing the French Alps
Discover the French Alps by bike, hike or tour van
The French Alps is a cyclist's paradise with some of the world's most scenic, challenging and breathtaking ride routes, many of which have featured many times in the Tour de France. Whilst the big climbs made famous for the TDF over the years are a must do, there are also many many more ride routes equally as challenging and stunningly scenic, so many that you could stay a couple of months and still not cover them all.
Staying a few days or even a week in the French Alps simply isn't enough time to experience all that this amazing location has to offer, so for 2015 we are offering the opportunity to stay and play a little longer. You can choose to stay for our minimum stay of a week but we recommend you stay at least 2 weeks.
Sharing the French Alps is not about jumping from one place to another, packing and unpacking and never getting to know the locals, no, this is all about settling into the beautiful village of Allemont, picking where to ride each day based on the weather and how you feel, and even getting to know the locals.
Andy Willis, your host/guide
I'm a passionate cyclist, an advocate for everything cycle related and the founder of Cyclerides Australia. Cyclerides has been a labour of love for me for many years, it has never really been about the "business" of cycling more about the desire to connect cyclists.
I own and operate a conference and event management business that organises conferences all around the world for large groups of delegates from Australian business organisations.
I live in the beautiful seaside village of Tathra on the Sapphire Coast of NSW, not only a stunning part of the world but also a great training ground with plenty of hills. So it's the seaside and hills of the Bega Valley in the Australian summer and the French Alps in the Australian winter/French summer, what a life :-) Read more.................
You won't stuck in a hotel room, instead you will stay in a fully self contained apartment, we're not talking luxury here. we're talking comfortably French style.
Set in the beautiful village of Allemont these apartments are one bedroom with kitchen, television, sheets and towels, free wifi and an outdoor living area to enjoy a glass of Vin rouge as you enjoy the stunning views of the mountains.
Transport and support
Your holiday in the Alps will start by being collected at either Lyon Airport or Grenoble train station and transferred to your accommodation.
You will have the services of a ride/tour guide for 4 out of the 7 days for each week of your stay and the option to have a support vehicle should you so desire. You will also have the choice to check out some of the many tourist sites on some days instead of cycling, the choice is yours.
This package is all about flexiblity, it's your holiday and we want you to enjoy what you want to do.
